I wish you the best in all you future endeavors!!!
And now on to the challenge!! Here's your challenge board........
I chose to use the top row: Houndstooth paper, white marker or pen and black lace. Here's my take on this challenge.....
Touch
I started with papers from Authentique's Blissful and Elegant Collections. Added some punching with a Martha Stewart punch here and there. Adhered some black lace on the right side of the papers, and then matted and framed my pic with more punched papers and diecuts from various manufacturers. The houndstooth paper is my photo mat.
The chippy is from Twiddleybitz and is a Flower Flourish Vine. You can see that I added a bit of white pen (Sharpie) to the chippy. The alphas are American Crafts Wonder.
I also added crosses in white pen, at each punched edge. The chippy was painted with black gesso from Liquitex, and then embossed in random places with Stampendous' Aged Silver embossing enamel.
I then layered my flowers over the chippy. I used flowers from I Am Roses, Kaisercraft and an old Prima Montana State flower. The red flowers were all sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang's Flat Fabio in Rizzo's Rowdy Red.
Sorry about the glare on the butterfly.....he is fussy cut from pattern paper, and then propped up on foam dots. Just love how this layout turned out!! Yellow is a difficult color to scrap (well for me that is!), and this yellow is bright and in your face! lol
Please make sure you stop by the 1~2~3 Get Scrappy blog, and check out all of the DT projects!! While you're there, don't forget to enter our challenge!!!
