Here's a look at the sketch for this challenge......
Love this sketch!!!! And here's my take on it......
I started with the gorgeous Rising of the Sun paper from 7 Dots Studio's Love is in the Air Collection, for my background. Then I added a bit of gesso, and some molding paste run through Tim's Measured stencil. I layered on some mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang's Tres Chic Collection....I used all of the colors in the collection, to heighten the original colors in the paper. Once dry, I added more molding paste through a Magenta stencil and added some Stampendous Aged Copper Enamel over top, and heat set. I also added a bit of Viva Decor's Inka Gold in Copper and Rose, to accent the stencilling. Continuing, with my resolution (now at least 2 years old), to use up my stash, I added some old as the hills message cards from Webster's Pages, under the wood mat.
The Petaloo lace was sprayed with Lindy's C'est La Vie Cerise, and heat set. I added a bunch of Flying Unicorn Metal Adornments, and embellies from the August Kit of the Month, including, Prima resins, Santoro buttons, Studio Calico wood veneers and a Prima wood atc. My title is a chitchat sticker from Tim Holtz.
The gorgeous leaf flourish is from Creative Embellishments, and was treated to Silks Acrylic Glaze in Pretty Peridot and Teal Zircon. Flowers are from Petaloo, except the small white roses, which are from I Am Roses. The felt bows, are older Prima, and from a past kit as well. I added dots all over my page, with Viva Decor's Pearl Pen in Bronze.
The SC wood veneers, looked like peaches to me, so I sprayed them with Lindy's Chateau Rose', heat set, and then sponged on a mix of Aleene's True Snow and Ranger Perfect Pearls Blush, and allowed to dry naturally, for the texture.
