Here's the sketch.......
And here is my take on the challenge......
As you can see, I kept it pretty clean & simple! I started with gorgeous papers from Authentique's Harmony Collection, I used 'Creation' paper. I ran Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink through a Prima stencil.....letting the color fade out as I got closer to the edges. I added a bit of stamping along the edge of the PP with Kaisercrafts 'Sheet Music' and EcoGreen Crafts 'Classic Ornaments' Stamps and Prima Chalk Inks in Olive Vine and Coltsfoot Stamens. I also edged the paper with the Olive Vine....though it is very subtle, and difficult to see. I didn't want it to overtake the page.
I punched one corner of the patterned paper with Martha Stewart's Deep Edge Corner Punch, Arabesque Scrolls. There was more of a point to the corner area, but I didn't like it, so I cut it off. I also cut two pieces of 'Foundation Two' paper, and Layered the first under the corner punching. The second piece was punched on both sides with the Arabesque Scrolls Edge Punch, and layered under the pic. I also fussy cut some flowers from the Authentique 'Botanic' paper.
A closeup of the punching, and the gorgeous Prima Blooms....love the blinged and pearled centers of these flowers!!
The teal blossoms are Petaloo Botanicas .......my all-time FAVES!!!! I added journaling with Authentique's Petite Diction Stickers, and my title is American Crafts Thickers 'Rainboots'.
