Welcome to another Twisted Tuesday Challenge!! This week your challenge is to use washi tape or fabric tape. The twist is to use something that begins with "T", "A", "P" or "E", on your creation. Think T = teal, twine, thread, A = acetate, apple, aqua, P = pearls, paint, pink and E = embossing, echo paprk paper. You can use whatever you want, as long as one item fits the twist. Here's my take on it......
Once Upon A Boy
My papers are from 7 Dots Studio's 9th Wave and Dreamer Collections (A = aqua). I then stencilled on some Viva Decor Pearl Pens (P = pearl pen) in Copper and Bronze. Yes, I just squeezed a dollop on my craft sheet, and then used a scraper to push it through the stencil.
I also used some washi tape (t = tape) from Prima and Recollections in three different spots. My title is a combination of chippies from 13 @rts (more T) and Imaginarium Designs. The 'Boy' was actually part of a baby sentiment, which I cut off. I sprayed Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays in Tiffany's Blue (more T) and Time Travel Teal (more T), and then a bit of LSG's Flat Fabio in Tweedle Dee Denim (yes, more T).
I wish I could remember who makes that honeycomb stencil, I think it may be Crafter's Workshop, but not sure. You can see that I scraped the bronze Pearl Pen right over some of the Copper.
The flowers are all from Petaloo (P = Petaloo) and include Faux Dried Floral Ephemera and Faux Dried Blooms. I sprayed the leaves with the Time Travel Teal.
Love the shimmer and glossiness of the Pearl Pen...what a surprise that it actually worked!! I have to say that this layout took me about an hour and a half total, including drying time....and it is by far one of my faves!!!!
Please head on over to the Twisted Tuesday blog, and check out all of the other DT projects. While you're at it, why not join us for this week's challenge!!
