New Beginnings.....that is the theme of our Challenge this week at Twisted Tuesday. So show us something craafty that is new to you, either received or bought. The Twist is to make the theme of your creation something new or the beginning of something new (baby, car, marriage, etc.)
1 1/2 Men
I've used twine to encircle my photo, which is a new crafty thing to do for me, and the twist is that this pic of my SIL and DGS on a family photo shoot, was taken just before SIL deployed at the beginning of December.
I've used gorgeous papers from 7 Dots Studio's 9th Wave Collection. I used stencils from The Crafter's Workshop, as well as Prima, and Modelier Creme and Ferro from Viva Decor, on the background.
My title is composed of Tim Holtz numbers and Prima alphas, inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, highlighted by corrugated cardboard, cut in strips.
I sprayed the largest bloom with Lindy's Stamp Gang's Flat Fabio in Tweedle Dee Denim. The flowers are from Petaloo Darjeeling Mix and Textured Red Blossom, as well as Prima Olivia and Charlotte.
Please hop on over to the Twisted Tuesday blog and check out all of the DT projects. And do come back to link upi your New Beginnings creation!!
