Okay, so I totally forgot to mention......I revamped my blog. Okay, not by much, but just enough to make it feel less clustered. I also, changed up my galleries from eight to three! In the process, I had to hunt down these pics. Unfortunately, some of them were lost; maybe a handful or two. I suppose I could redo those pics, but right now I probably won't bother. There were a few that I found in my 'work in progress' folders from 3 years ago, and by naming them, etc, Typepad decided these were 'new', so it added them to the front of my Layout Gallery. Not what I really wanted to happen, since my style has changed a lot since then!! But oh well......there they are!!
This layout is based on Sue Pup's July sketch for Scraps of Elegance.
All of the scrappy supplies came from the July kit at SOE. The gorgeous papers are BoBunny, Graphic 45 and Donna Salazar/GCD. I did a lot of fussy cutting and distressing with Tim's tools and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Here's a closeup of the fussy cutting, Prima Flower and my handmade pearl flourish. It's actually glued on the paper, not on a piece of acetate, as I've seen done before. I used a Bazzill flourish stencil, to keep things aligned, and added the gorgeous Melissa Frances pearls over my dots.
Love these papers!! Doing a peek-a-boo from under my pic, is a gorgeous tulle trim, which is also from Melissa Frances. I used a SEI rubon on the G45 sticker for my title. The rubons that run up the right hand side of the layout, are BoBunny, and are also included in the kit.
